The gear type coupling is composed of the same number of teeth inside gear ring and the flange half coupling with outer teeth. The e outer teeth are divided into straight teeth and drum teeth.
When the gear coupling is working, the two axes produce relative angular displacement, and the tooth surface of the inner and outer teeth periodically slip axially, resulting in tooth surface wear and power consumption. Therefore, the gear coupling needs to work in a good and sealed state.
